Bit Blitz

A speed drill for the number skills every digital designer lives on: binary, hex and decimal conversions, two's complement, bitwise ops and population counts. Answer as fast as you can, every correct answer buys time and a wrong one costs it. How high can you score?

Why it matters

Reading a bus in hex, negating a number in two's complement, or spotting how many bits are set are the reflexes you use constantly when writing RTL and reading waveforms. This just makes drilling them fun. When you want to build the hardware that crunches these bits, head to the hands-on course.
