Logic Golf: Beat the Synthesizer

Implement each circuit in the fewest gates. Real Yosys counts every one, and a leaderboard tracks who golfs it smallest. Beat par.

Catch the sweeping clock edge inside the data-valid window. It only gets faster, and metastability always wins in the end. How long can you last?

Mystery Chip daily

Reverse-engineer the black box: probe a hidden logic function, eliminate the candidates, and identify the chip in as few probes as you can. A new chip every day.

Karnaugh daily

Cover every 1 on the map with the fewest groups, using don't-cares to your advantage. Boolean minimization by hand, and the true minimum to beat. A new map every day.

Critical Path daily

Place your pipeline registers to balance the datapath and make the slowest stage as fast as possible. Close timing at par. A new datapath every day.

Sequence Lock daily

Crack a combination lock built from a state machine: press the right symbols in order, a wrong one resets you to Start. Read the states and open it in the fewest presses. A new lock every day.
