Route It

Every pair of matching pins is a net. Drag from a pin to route a wire to its partner, connect all the nets, and fill every cell of the fabric, with no two wires ever crossing. It is the puzzle a place-and-route tool solves for a living. A new board every day.

What you're actually doing

Getting signals from A to B without overlap, using every scarce routing track, is exactly the job of an FPGA's place-and-route tool. When a design is hard to wire up we call it congested, and the tool has to rip up and retry paths just like you do here. Build the logic those wires connect in the hands-on course.
